It was never going to be easy we know, but democracy must prevail, the vote was to leave the EU.
For all the squabbling last year, the useless Lib Dems (who wanted to stop Brexit by any means) and Labour under inept Corbyn (and Starmer in charge of their Brexit agenda) could have gone with May’s deal which would have had a softer landing . Those two parties have a lot to answer for in this saga.
Johnsons deal is the.same as Mays deal
Except he will break international law after the 1st of jan .

A deal will almost certainly be agreed, suits everyone to have one. Will be concessions on both sides I feel and they will probably go to the wire to finalise matters. I think that subsequent trade deals will be encouraged as businesses will want it, especially now the economy has suffered dilute to the Covid crisis.
The only deal done will be 1 that suits the EU
Therefore it will not be accepted by jacob & co .
It certainly wont make things better than they were .
Any No deal will also mean that life will not be better for everyone

There has been no ‘ crashing out’ or ‘falling off cliffs’ Swinson the chief scaremonger has left politics and feathered her nest in yet another well paid quango. She was good wasn’t she? Never had a proper job in her life.
Nothing to do with delaying tactics or party politics or my personal view on Brexit. All to do with the stupidity of changing the way we do business with the EU in the midst of a Worldwide Pandemic. What harm would a 6 month delay cause? Much too sensible for the shower of she-ite we have in government though.

Yup, I agree, which is yet more proof that a government that would take this approach is not fit for purpose.
Tuffers it will only because sleepy Joe will take the USA to war and he will destabilise things in the process by doing so. You won't be sleeping so tight either. Why do you think we've just upped the defence budget? Our paymasters have told us to up the game cos you never know whats around the corner.

We left the EU a year ago.
The ‘deal’ they are talking about is a transition deal. There is no mind to be ‘made up’.
If we get a deal or not , does not impact on the fact that we are no longer in the EU.
