Surprised that Exeter are 16/1. They’ve had a decent couple of seasons and continue to build. Not surprised with Bradford and Plymouth A. Us at 16/1. Mid range. About right as are Salford odds being shorter.

I'd be amazed if all the 4 relegated sides were all promoted - how often does that happen? Like to see the odds once the summer's 'bought and solds' have become clearer.

Well done you, I think you’ll be in there fighting at the end of the season.Buddy Manucci wrote: ↑Tue May 28, 2019 1:51 pm Got 25s on us with skybet on the day after promotion.

Absolutely on both points. I would guess that their finances would atop them from doing too much dough this year though.

Re: Bradford C. and Plymouth A. favourites to win League Two
Over the last 14 seasons, 12 clubs relegated from League One have bounced straight back, but five of those have been over the last three seasons, which may or may not indicate the gap between the divisions is increasing
I’ve noticed that relegated teams are often quoted as favourites or highly fancied with the bookies to return, but in practice it works out that way less often, probably because teams tend not to be relegated because they are good. But it looks a reasonably strong set of relegated teams this time around - I wasn't expecting any of them to go down - so will be interesting to see how it maps out.

The value is rarely found in relegated teams or the “bigger” clubs. Always worth looking at one of the also-rans who are turning things around, but you’d have to wait and see what transfers in & out happen first. I’m keeping an eye on Port Vale for a promotion (rather than winners) bet.

Re: Bradford C. and Plymouth A. favourites to win League Two
Bradford will be hampered with an expensive team which they are trying to offload, the budget has been slashed and they’ve been in a rut. It will be hard to make an immediate return.

Re: Bradford C. and Plymouth A. favourites to win League Two
Remember the bookmakers set the odds to ensure their risk is the least . Hence why bigger clubs who have more people getting on them are lower odds. It doesn't necessarily reflect the strength of the team
