Quite a few people will see restrictions over the Christmas period as a blessing in disguise.

You asked me if I would be cancelling my Christmas, my extended in law family is bigger than 6 therefore we'll just have to spread out when we see everyone. If we couldn't acheive that , we'd have to contact each other on zoom or facetime. Or delay the celebration until a later time when the law of the land allows it. So worst case scenario would see it postponed/delayed but not cancelled.

Why would anyone want to have Christmas day outside....... in this country......... in December...
But we're not allowed to meet other households indoors.

Cant delay Christmas :(((
Isn't that dependent on what tier/level you're situated in?

On a side issue, I notice from this week's Corona 'figures' (the per 100,000 one) that the top 51 places in England with the highest levels of covid are north of Birmingham. Bristol in 52nd is the highest place south of Birmingham..............something is obvs going badly wrong.

How do the places in the top 50 correlate with levels of Asian population? Asking for a friend.

Have they not been saying that for the last few weeks though and the south is still tracking considerably lower than the north.
I agree with what I read somewhere that if it was reversed and the south was worse than the north you know full well that the whole of the country would be in total lockdown long before now. A 2 nation country, who would have guessed that under a Tory government.... 🙄

I know that is is a point not to be raised in public but in my experience of living in a highly Asian populated area they are the ones that I have witnessed least sticking to the rule of 6 and wearing masks. Maybe i should put it down to a higher proportion of large families.

I’m not sure it’s needed or required dis. I know people who work in two hospitals in Kent and neither hospital has covid in them. They even said in their area the other two hospitals one has 1 and the other has 3. The area is big and vast so if they are not getting it out there where exactly is it?

Cells that produce antibodies, which kill virus-infected cells.

Is there any benefit in getting a vaccine when the science is now saying it only lasts a few months.
