Seems like they’ve learnt...
A lack of joined up thinking is the issue. They could have said here you go kids we've got your backs, the country would have said well done. Even the hard left would have doffed their caps. I'm not a corbyn supporter, but he'd had fed them.

Instead they are being rightly held up to ridicule, now they will u-turn once more and again being lauded as inept and bowing to public opinion.

It really is not rocket science.

More than 50 Tory MPs have written to the prime minister calling for a "clear road map" out of lockdown restrictions in northern England, warning the region risks being "left behind".

The letter from the Northern Research Group said the pandemic threatened Boris Johnson's pledge to "level-up"

So it seems that Boris the buffoon needs to be reminded of his pledge to the North .

Did they really believe him ?

Ask the people ignoring the regulations. Won’t be long before the South follows.

I suspect that they really get a boner from a title that gives the impression that >50% of their effort goes into researching members of Cabinet etc for any kompromat they might be able to use to further their ends.

Think it's more they get a hard on "representing" the group the Tory leadership is deemed to be relying on most

And on the back of that get headlines and supposed legitimacy

It's the same Europe wide. Are all countries run by incompetent fools or do we just have to appreciate that attempting to control a pandemic is like trying to nail jelly to the wall?

Most European countries have a plan .

2 have managed to half the infection rate by using the much
talked about circuit break to achieve this .

Still keep just plodding through here while doing absolutely f*ck all

2 have slowed the infection rate? How many haven't?

Which 2 countries have been successful?

So you are basically advocating a type of Gestapo going round knocking on people's doors and doing a headcount. Continuously.
