Red Card

Post by marcho »

Hi All
Will the club appeal/review the red card and subsequent sending off ,it did look a bit soft from the highlights I saw. ?

I doubt it. Not enough evidence to overturn it so pointless. England got a penalty for less yesterday.....

One match suspension. Very innocuous contact but he was the last player. I think that's why he was sent off.

They can't afford to appeal. I believe it costs 000s to put the appeal in and get it back if successful which seldom they are.

That's not true though. "Being the last man" has never been an automatic red card offence. It's only a red card if that player denies a clear goalscoring opportunity.

Generally the two tend to go hand in hand, in the case of Happe definitely applies as let's face it Coulson was never getting back to cover
