I’m struck by how similar Tranmere and us have been in recent seasons, for with one exception – our season 2015-16 when we didn’t get relegated – we have matched Tranmere’s ups/ downs/ stay puts exactly in the following season. Here’s Tranmere’s recent history:
2012-13 – led League One for a lot of the early part of the season, but ended up staying put.
2013-14 - relegated to League Two.
2014-15 – relegated to the National League
2015-16 – stayed put on the National League.
2016-17 – stayed put in the National League.
2017-18 – promoted to the EFL.
So I just wonder if it’s a good omen them getting promoted in 2018-19!
Well done Tranmere

Thing is, they brought in about 10 new players since last season too improve themselves. Can you see us bringing in 10 new players, because I can't.

Not sure we need 10 players. Probably require 5, 2 CM's 1 CF, 1 Wide right player, 1 left sided wing back
That should do the trick I think, then its utilise the loan market to fuĺl effect.

Re: Well done Tranmere
Do we need another winger? Brophy and Jobi on the left, JWMD and Dayton on the right. (Assuming a return to 4-4-2).
Would rather bring in 2 strikers, so we have 5 - you’ll want 4 involved each game.

Dayton hasn't signed his contract yet has he? That's why I said a right sided wide man. So many variables, so many unknowns.
