Re: Manager Merry Go Round
He did - and he started the season by getting ridiculously few points in Serie A. Almost saved them.LeytonstoneRed07 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 23, 2020 5:07 pmTo be fair he did take Lecce from Serie C if I'm not mistakenLittleMate wrote: ↑Sun Aug 23, 2020 3:19 pmHaving been sacked a few days ago from the Lecce job, after they lost their last game of the season 4-3 to Parma!B.whitehouse+10more wrote: ↑Sun Aug 23, 2020 3:14 pm Fabio Liverani set to become boss of serie A side Parma

Re: Manager Merry Go Round
John Sheridan on his way from Waterford to Wigan after six weeks in charge. He did call it a pub league to a rival manager so he didn't exactly win over League of Ireland fans.

Unbeaten and in fifth place this season. Sacked for style reasons. Reckon more likely they want a bigger name manager.ComeOnYouOs wrote: ↑Mon Oct 12, 2020 12:44 pm Salford sack Graham Alexander. Paul Scholes in temp. charge

You have to wonder at a club like Salford, where so many footballing opinions exist, if the manager gets to shape his squad in the same way as most others do.

That's a real surprise because I thought he was doing a good job there . I think he's a good manager so I don't expect it'll be long before he gets himself another job.Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Mon Oct 12, 2020 1:01 pmUnbeaten and in fifth place this season. I bet both their fans really tear into each other when their opinions differ.LittleMate wrote: ↑Mon Oct 12, 2020 1:32 pm You have to wonder at a club like Salford, where so many footballing opinions exist, if the manager gets to shape his squad in the same way as most others do.

Re: Manager Merry Go Round
Heard on the grapevine that the Cowleys had been approached last week on the basis that"if if bacame available". Not sure I could see them working with Gary Neville but who knows if the money was right and they got the backing they would want could be a decent match up.
