Borrowed Greats
Having watched the grass grow at Brisbane Road since my old Dad took me there as a three year old in 1949, it came as no surprise to wake up this morning dreaming about the Os.
I was thinking about all the great players that have come to E10 over the years, some on the way up but most on the way down. What, I wondered, would be the best team of internationally capped players we've had on the books?
Off the top of my head, I'd say:
Peter Shilton
Eric Lichaj Alvin Martin Terry Mancini Nicky Shorey
Laurie Cunningham Ray Wilkins Phil Woosnam Tony Grealish
Harry Kane
Kevin Campbell
What do you think?

Re: Borrowed Greats
Peter Brabrook and Mark Lazaraz who scored one of the best goals ever seen at Brizzie. The ball was passed from the left over to Lazaraz on the right, it was slightly behind him but he back-heeled it over his head ran a couple of yards and lashed it in to the far corner from edge of the box. Superb!
