I think you’ll find he said it is a defender in the interview!

Yes, I've just watched it again . I missed Ross mentioning defenders the first time round .

Probably centre half loan signing from Premier or Championship club.

Our back four looked very fragile today in that opening half hour when I thought Cheltenham could have scored 3 or 4 by HT
I can only guess that Happe wasn’t well enough for 90 mins , but I think he was missed today.
Put Widdowson at LB and maybe start Thomas or Turley at RB .
We looked ok in the 2nd half but Cheltenham were ‘parking the bus’ by then and didn’t attack as much.

True to form probably on the subs bench!

I think our improved second half had more to do with Cheltenham being happy with their lead and not fussed about increasing it, just to keep it.

Had they been more aggressive then they could very easily have got more, but with the additional risk of conceding.

And I wish Ross would not say he won’t make excuses, when he does.

Is it actually right that if you type in Ross (with an R) on here it changes it to Boss (with a B)

We should give Cheltenham some credit. They are a decent side. Structure. Pace and skill on the wings. No nonsense centre halves. Everyone knew what they should be doing and no obvious weak links. Would be surprised if they are not top six. It was only because they sat back second half to protect the lead that we came on strong. That and Jobi trying to drive the team forward. They could have had 5 in the first half.

Good post and spot on. The only thing I’d add is I think they will be challenging the top 3, they impressed me last season and again yesterday, decent teams attack grab the lead and then game manage it out and they did it to perfection yesterday.
