Re: We're doomed, doomed!!!
I do wonder how many of these non-compliant-social non-distancing revelers up and down the country are complaining about not being able to attend any type of sporting event? I would bet my shirt that the vast majority of them are, especially those "brave and hardy" souls who exhibit all that pie and beer filled flab in the depths of winter.

Yes, agreed, but the point is it’s perfectly legal to sit in a pub all day with 5 others at the same table, but not for 90 mins in aDisoriented wrote: ↑Tue Sep 29, 2020 7:04 amDuring a pandemic - madness.
Sports stadium where you and I would be socially distanced etc
Having said that a group of us are off to Potters Bar Town v Cheshunt tonight in the Isthmian Premier League for our fix of live ‘footy’ .

I would have to say I'm am so ignorant of techno stuff but could live streaming be a help / answer. I would have thought that Orient supporters here in Wales or right around the world can watch or just listen to the matches live, and that, probably there would be more of us than are able to be at BR. The beauty of the streaming is that I can also watch Orient away. I don't know how much of my £10.00 goes to LOFC but I'm more than happy to pay it to see the O's and, hopefully provide financial support for the club. Perhaps the Prem clubs and Govt could help clubs with grants to set up the technical stuff and get streaming up and running.

I partly agree. I live too far from Orient to be able to attend other than occasionally and I've taken advantage of, and enjoyed the some of the live streams. But, for a lot of people (including me when I can attend in person) a lot of the enjoyment comes from meeting your mates, having a beer or two and generally experiencing the joy of a communal event. I don't, therefore, think live streaming can ever fully replace the live game.cymruO wrote: ↑Tue Sep 29, 2020 11:25 am I would have to say I'm am so ignorant of techno stuff but could live streaming be a help / answer.
