Well, he’s going to have to work very hard to offset the damage done this week.

Great, a special programme for a game that didn't happen. I hope the squad list on the back is Nigel's available team.

I doubt the sky money was ever in the budget so it’s unlikely to affect the estimated annual loss. So in damage terms none has been done budget wise. Lack of fans in the ground on the other hand. Though even that I dare say has been considered in their annual planning. They are smart people.

But pretty frigging annoying none the less for the club

All true, but there’s still the very real possibility of a financial penalty for our inability to fulfil two fixtures this week.

Personally I would be amazed if the club got penalised. I have no doubt the club can demonstrate they took what they believed were the right actions, actions supported by doctors. Following medical advice stuff. In my opinion the advice was poo poo and decisions wrong, as history proves. But I suspect the authorities will put it down to a learning curve experience for all clubs.

I'd not heard that or seen an announcement to that effect.

Why should Orient be compensated for not fulfilling the fixture?

They shouldn’t be nor will they be compensated. Why would we think otherwise.

Fair play to the club, that’s brilliant. These could end up being worth a small fortune.

He's definitely running out of rabbits in his hat, but fortunately I reckon he has a trick or two left up his sleeve.

Absolutely. Collectors generally are all over programmes that have something unique about them. These will soon sell for above face value. The 10 I've ordered are going straight on Ebay
