Who did this then?
Hands up, I was skimming through the news and misread what Nando said. Still think the allusion was deliberate though.
The full quote: “we stand up for Britain, we stand up for British people, we stand up for British interests and we will always put that first”.

What do you find problematic about it?
Well on a purely personal level, I'm married to someone who isn't British and both me and my kid have dual nationalities. Britain is our home and somewhere we're on the whole very happy to be. As we all have every right to be here, I'd quite like to be considered on an equal footing to everyone else, even if they are more British than me.

I don't think that quote says that you won't be. But not going to argue if that's the way you've interpreted it

Ok, so far we have dealt with the patriotism with the fascist undertones that panders to bigots that SirKeith was slevering on about the other day.

Can we now move on and deal with the claim that Leftists are somehow anti families.

The Corbyn led Labour Party had a raft of proposals that we're pro family. Such as proposals to deal with child poverty and lack of decent housing. So that claim is spurious too.

Next.

But Corbin didn’t put British families first, did he.

Hopefully we will look back and laugh at the fact we only had two parties that could win an election in 30 years. We ain’t getting any sort of decent government for at least 10 years, I’m losing interest in it all.

Corbyn backs Assange, again. Backing for alledged illegal activity providing motives appear good. The Assange story gets more interesting by the day.

Interesting? Beyond belief more like ! Cost millions in Police time ‘guarding’ the Ecuadorian Embassy whilst he is shagging his lawyer inside gathering two kids. He has a history of jumping bail, just taking the pi55. He has. Betrayed his supporters financially as well. The bloke is a nuisance.

Nadia Whittome sacked for the second time this year - first time for whistleblowing the PPE issues in care homes, second time by Sirkier for trying to defend human rights.

The performative outrage of morons pretending they've never heard of collective responsibility is why I clicked on this thread today.

I wasn't disappointed

Labour are 3% behind the Tories in the last poll.
Its hard to believe.....the worst Tory government EVER, and yet Labour are 3% behind.
When Corbyn was in a similar position, the Centrists & Right wingers would be very vocal about how he turns of voters, and how if they had a 'moderate' leader, Labour would be 20% ahead.
Funny how we dont hear a peep out of them now, they got their 'moderate' leader !

COYOS is right, people have stopped posting polling figures since Starmer came in. Here they are for reference:

Final poll of Corbyn's leadership

Conservative: 52%
Labour: 28%

Today

Conservative: 41%
Labour 38%

Corbyn's final approval rating: -45%

Starmer's current approval rating: +13%

Thanks for reminding me to update these COYOS
