Also some fantastic gestures by Spurs fans who have been buying LOFC merchandise on line with some buying childrens kits that are being donated to Whipps X hospital.

Seemed a bit more pointed than usual, gave the Govt a good slating which gets a thumbs up from me. Very supportive of the EFL, which is surprising given our previous history with them.

3 players were sent to Inverness, 3 to Milford Haven, 2 to Carlisle, 6 to Penzance and the remainder will be sent home testing kits in 3 weeks time

He's bang on the money with the refusing testing thing if you punish teams for doing the right thing they'll just do the wrong one.tuffers#1 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 22, 2020 8:17 pm Travis mentioned that the ground has had a
deep clean in the last couple of days ,
I see that Luton have made 9 changes from there starting line up because they feel the league game on Saturday is far more important to them .
It shows that although Travis comends the EFL ,
He has them over a barrel with awarding the
game to Spurs.
As he said punishing clubs for testing will lead to others refusing testing & that isnt good for sport or
the population in general .

It would be bloody brilliant if this happened. Afterall, with all that's happened to our club over the last 4 - 5 years we deserve a bit of luck.

Didnt Utd offer Luton testing and they turned it down. Watch the fallout if precious Utd players now come down with it.JimbO wrote: ↑Wed Sep 23, 2020 9:13 amHe's bang on the money with the refusing testing thing if you punish teams for doing the right thing they'll just do the wrong one.tuffers#1 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 22, 2020 8:17 pm Travis mentioned that the ground has had a

West ham offered hull testing but was refused and the game was played after 3 wh individuals were tested positive . The reason the hull manager said was ' because we didnt want to create anything '. We were up front and get penalised

Do the free tests work ?
Im not sure you get told if you have it or not .
The assumption is if you arent contacted then
you can assume you dont have it .

Re: Travis on 5 Live
My brother got notified for his daughter that she didn't have it after getting tested.
The fact that so many on here haven't been tested and don't know the process is a massive red flag to me. In aus you get the results texted to you within 24 hours. If you have it they will call you earlier. And virtually everyone I know has had at least one test.
I can see why it's been so bad in the uk, what a sh*t show

tested twice , Neither were told Yes or No .
You just assume that if you dont get told yes then it's a No .
My Sister even asked the place she went for her Op & they said we dont get told !

Re: Travis on 5 Live
That's insane, you're supposed to isolate whilst waiting for the results. How long are you supposed to wait? What if there's a delay and you've assumed you've got the all clear and gone out?

I've had the test, worked like a dream (this was at the beginning of August though can't vouch for it now)Adz wrote: ↑Wed Sep 23, 2020 12:14 pm My brother got notified for his daughter that she didn't have it after getting tested.

Had the test on Friday evening, at drive through about 15 miles away and received result less then 24 hours later by text and email. It was so efficient it meant I could get out to the bookies in time for the Saturday evenings races, (after I'd received the all clear)

Re: Travis on 5 Live
save the possibility that we might have actually won and got another juicy tie with Chelsea (or a more winnable one against Barnsley)Top of the JES wrote: ↑Wed Sep 23, 2020 12:42 am Looks like a compromise has been offered whereby the O's will have to forfeit the tie but Spurs have offered to cover any losses LOFC incur by not playing the game. It would be a decent result for everybody, EFL rule invoked, Spurs won't have to play another fixture and the O's won't lose out financially.
I tell you what, the alacrity with which we've dealt with this since Travis has got involved stands in real contrast to how it was being handled under sleepy Martin, when players were turning up for work with symptoms and being told they were fine.

Re: Travis on 5 Live
My sister had the test , then isolated for 2 weeks
As did her other half , then went to the hospital for the op.
How can you protect health workers with no clear response of
Yes or No , what shocked me more is that the Hospital arent told if you are clear.
They just have to assume .
This was also around the time that a bunch of tests were said to be
unusable due to faulty test equipment.
