Don't want to be controversial but when people talk too much about islamophobia, Christianophobia, and other such stuff it all too often stifles genuine debate about difficult subjects.

We get into a "better say nothing" vacuum of censorship when sometimes its genuinely more constructive to be able to talk about difficult subjects. In my opinion society is far healthier being able to talk freely, without malice, about difficult subjects without the fear of being branded.

This argument is trotted out so much. The old "everybody says that everything is racist these days" argument really is pathetic and is often used to dismiss genuine claims of bigotry. "Oh you say EVERYTHING is racist" is a very common defense used by racists.
