Re: West Ham have the virus as well
So maybe the game between the U-23s of the spammers & us is the link.
Wet Spam will be on PL testing & that is graded ,
Unlike the EFL which is yes/No .
Something Nigel said he only learned today .

Re: West Ham have the virus as well
So Here's what I don't understand ,
We get Covid our game is called off and Spurs are likely to go through.
West Ham get Covid and they're game still goes ahead !(and currently they are through as well!)
They only care about the Premier League teams.

Re: West Ham have the virus as well
So can our Covid negative tested players continue to play OR must they isolate at home ?
Can't wait for the EFL view on all this !
Wonder what would have happened if Spurs where playing at WHU tonight ??

Re: West Ham have the virus as well
If 1 player had it but didnt start producing symptoms & spreading it for a week
Then it could easily fall into the 2 week time line of others then getting it .
They say the spread doubles week by week dont they .
Again its only a thought not a factual quote.

Don’t think it was Lingy, he didn’t get within 2 yards of any of their players.tuffers#1 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 22, 2020 8:40 pm3 weeks ago

Re: West Ham have the virus as well
It was ,
But thats the whole thing of this virus
1 person maybe a spreader rather than a sufferer .
They have it after 5 days they spread the germs to 1 other
It sits in them for a week & affects another 2 & so on & so on .
Again its only me thinking out loud.
Remember while Oldham was going into lockdown ,
Stamford Hill & Ilford were being warned of an extremely
high R number & were also close to lockdown .
It could quite easily be passed by a delivery driver or a home shop delivery
Meat plants in the u.k & around the world have had major outbreaks .
Im sure there are a 100 other ways of getting it rather than just sitting in a pub or Restraunt.
Edit-:
Oops sorry fella
I meant this to be for Kokomos question about ages ago

Re: West Ham have the virus as well
To clarify the rules:
Anyone who tests positive must isolate. The rest of the team are allowed to carry on as normal.
EFL Teams do not require players to be tested EPL teams do. Indeed there seems to be a clear incentive not to test as then you can just carry on as if nothing has happened.
To any sane person this seems crazy, but the interests here are about money, rather than reducing the spread of the disease.

Re: West Ham have the virus as well
The next time West Ham players are tested, they could have more positive cases in squad if some players have been mixing with the 2 positive players and Moyes?

Re: West Ham have the virus as well
I thought the EFL said you can’t get Covid during a game unless you are within 2 metres of an infected person for 15 minutes. So playing is low risk.
Or in Sam Lings case no risk. He never gets within 2 metres of an opponent at all.
