Yes, and all us liberal southern softies should show some loyalty to the party and get behind the message that it's alright to be a bit racist because apparently northerners love a bit of that almost as much as chips, gravy and whippets. True enough but is the best way to do that to wrap yourself in the Butchers Apron and blabber on about Britain first to a load of bigots. It won't go down well in Scotland where Labour need to take seats to "get into power".

I say get in to power but we already know real power does not actually rest with parliament.

If you want to be in the winning team first and foremost just be a Tory.

I want a Lab gov, bigtime. (Or an anything-over-than-these-Gov) but I want it to be good. Once we inevitably swing back conservative I don't want a term to be beaten up by of getting nothing done or saying, doing or achieving nothing of note.

My only annoyance with Starmer is that he is giving the finger to the left to appease the right and it feels a bit sad but hopefully he comes good.

Most of the people on the 'left' with these faux-concerns about Starmer are not Labour anyway, just TUSC/SWP cranks who jumped on the Corbyn bandwagon. Labour have won without these people before and will do so again - the same can't be said for the centre.
