Only things I remember about Francis Rd are in this order from Leyton High Rd
The nick, fishing tackle shop and the clinic my old ma went to every week after she had TB

Just found this photo of the high rd and top of my old rd (Brewster) brings back some memories
Post office on the corner and Three Blackbirds down on the right, think there was a grocers, Attwoods? on the other corner to the P.O.

Correction for sure a chippy is still in Francis Rd but it’s not the original one Chris’s so called chippy is more of a burger/chicken place these days
