What a soft penalty to give away. Brophy 110% at fault.

If Sam Ling had played that as badly as Brophy did, this board would be going into meltdown

Beat me to it, casual switching off that a defensively minded player doesn't do.

Can't believe with all the good work the club has done setting up their own streaming that they're reliant on a third-party for the commentary. Time to give Dave Victor the boot and get a decent commentator on the club's own kit. Shame for the club staff who put so much work into this let down by the shambles at the BBC.

A good example of just completely losing concentration. Jogging as the ball came over, put himself under pressure.

Nowt wrong with cheating but you've gotta be good at it to get anything out the ref

He's an awful commentator, amazed he's managing to get the names right today.

Well, that was an absolute nightmare for Brophy. Could have headed the ball clear in the first place, then just dawdled back after it, then completely miscued the backpass and then brought the bloke down. Thank God that was Brophy because if it had been Ling people would have been going apoplectic.

100% pen, made the error then brought the man down, incredibly sloppy

Agreed but also you'd expect Ling to know better as a specialist RB. Half the problem here is an attacking winger being expected to maintain concentration levels and defensive nous of an LB.

Natural defender or not, there’s absolutely no excuse for that.

That's why I prefer Joe Widdowson at LB . Anyway, in my opinion Brophy is more effective further up the pitch.

Too easy atm for their back line. They’ve basically doubled up on Johnson. Get Ruel up next to him to pull one of those away. And get Brophy past the halfway line!
