The opening post/ title is the only time you will hear "decent place" and "Southend" in the same sentence

Saks, opposite Southend Central station, will I would think be showing it, and is always quiet-ish midweek whenever I've visited.

I would be staggered if you experienced any anti-Orient antipathy anywhere to be honest.

Not my knowledge,Tuffers. There was a place on the seafront that was notorious for having sub standard strippers (The Forresters); but it’s been demolished now. To my knowledge, no one has mounted it’s passing.tuffers#1 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 18, 2020 3:29 pmIs that the place that had the strippers ?Scuba Diver wrote: ↑Fri Sep 18, 2020 1:49 pmSaks, opposite Southend Central station, will I would think be showing it, and is always quiet-ish midweek whenever I've visited.

It’s still closed mate. It’s the smallest pub in Essex and they can’t maintain any form of ‘social distancing’. If that’s your thing. Social distancing doesn’t really work in there.KC & sunshine band wrote: ↑Fri Sep 18, 2020 4:47 pm The Cornucopia, Southend-On-Sea

I used to go to ''The Foresters Arms'' in the mid 1970s, great fun then, no strippers when I went there on sundays in the summer time but there was a resident DJ there who went by the name of ''Gay Teddy'' !Scuba Diver wrote: ↑Fri Sep 18, 2020 10:59 pmNot my knowledge,Tuffers.
