What a good idea !!
Also if Spurs put their first team out, then why not have 15 players on our side ( including the 3 right backs ! ) to balance things up a bit !

Jamie Turley to clog him in the first 10 minutes and put him out for the rest of the season. What are the chances?

Not really, he'd be able to play a lot more golf.

I understood Spurs were only paying part of his wages and Real Madrid left to pick up the balance

if Spurs are paying him more than 200k a week of his ridiculous wages I'd be very surprised.

Isn't he on 600k a week or something like that?

Possibly not, wouldn't be a surprised if the press are reporting his signing/loyalty bonuses from when he signed onwards and adding that pro rata on top of his basic salary to get a sensationalised total.

Will probably inflate the value of the left back coming in, so Madrid get more £ up front and Spurs can spread the cost in their books.

Think Real are paying 60% and Spurs 40% of his wages.

Gutted if he's not able to play on Tuesday night. He's undoubtedly my favourite Spurs player of the last 30 years.

Cant see Bale playing until possibly Newcastle next Saturday but Sergio Reguilon could make his debut at Left back. Will be interesting to see what sort of side Spurs put out i expect mixture of fringe players and under 23's.

Reckon Spurs are worried about playing Orient.

notice they only signed Bale AFTER getting drawn to play at Brisbane Road. fully expect to see them signing Messi etc as well before the game at Orient

Yes and two players who probably would have played against the O's are on their way on loan deals - Jack Clarke (who was the best player in the championship two years ago), and Shilow Tracey, who was probably their best player when we played them pre season. Still expect Dennis Cirkin (highly rated left back), Harvey White (along with Cirkin training with the first team) and perhaps a few fringe players who can't get into their Europa league squad. (George Marsh, Juan Foyth plus others)

Possibly, they have a massive squad, and on paper they should still be stronger than the O's, however if the team has never played together before that counts for a lot
