Anyone know how much we got for Alzate? Looks like a starter in the prem for Brighton now, hopefully we had some performance related clauses in the deal

Re: Alzate Fee
I remember a Brighton scout sitting next to me the season after he left us. He said he thought Alzate would get in their first team and go on to bigger things. The scout said his attitude was first class

Re: Alzate Fee
Looked really good yesterday (despite being partly at fault for their first goal). Really think he'll make it big. Just hope to god we made a good deal with Brighton.

Re: Alzate Fee
Allegedly 'he who shall not be named' stipulated that he would receive the proceeds of the group of young players disposed of around this time, including Alzate, as part of his terms of sale. May be worth posing to the management team at the next Q&A, although their answer will likely be 'we can't discuss details.....'

Re: Alzate Fee
I'm dredging back in my memory, possibly it was the 2019 AGM, when this question was asked of the owners. As I recall, it's not true. I also recall it being said that there's only a fee payable to Beelzebub if we get promoted to the Premier League.waigO wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 11:54 am Allegedly 'he who shall not be named' stipulated that he would receive the proceeds of the group of young players disposed of around this time, including Alzate, as part of his terms of sale. As an asset of leyton orient football I don't think that would be legal, but also I think it would break the EFL rules on third party ownershipwaigO wrote: ↑Wed Sep 16, 2020 12:16 amWhat are you basing this on?RedO wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 1:07 pmNo chance.waigO wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 11:54 am Allegedly 'he who shall not be named' stipulated that he would receive the proceeds of the group of young players disposed of around this time, including Alzate, as part of his terms of sale.
