Funny, over the last two years we’ve bemoaned the fact that we may lose our players to league clubs. Clearly some felt and rightly so that we had players who could make it in the league.

Now we are in the league and perhaps could use that position to attract decent non league players some feel that ot is not good enough to look at NL players. Some may well be good enough to step up.

You only have to look at some of the players that Peterborough have signed out of non league and sold for decent money to know that those gems are out there. You can have success with them as well.

Not really; I’m just not as confident that we have the requisite quality in the existing squad, therefore I’m advocating a more intensive squad overhaul. Well aware that the retained list indicates otherwise. Worried about a number of the starters at this level (Brill, Ling/Judd, Widdowson in particular), let alone squad depth (Sargeant, Ling/Judd, Sweeney, Gorman, Dayton, Harrold).

Josh Hare’s the best right back in the league - would be a definite improvement on what we’ve got.
