Ling isn't the manager. He's the director of football. But, leaving that aside, I'd like to suggest, that given events in the fairly recent past, Ling's record when he WAS manager is somewhat better than many of the other managers we have had. No?faith1234 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2020 3:30 pm I think that we will struggle to stay in this division and mr ling is at foult as the recuitment has not been good Boss nice guy but not a manager and the owners are at foult as well for mot getting in the right man and saving money with the cheap man in the building not looking forward to this season sorry people

We all have literally no idea how many clubs have gone backwards since last season, because their squads have had to be ripped up and started over with cheaper players because of COVID-19. It's all well and good pointing at the lack of signings, but a settled squad could take us a long way.
So on that basis, I'll say 17th as usual.

Re: WHERE WILL W FINISH
Fair point. The likes of Colchester have had changes with a relatively well-performing manager gone and more reliance on youth, no telling how that will pan out but instinct says I'd rather be in our position. Time will tell, it's a difficult one to predict this season.A Pedant wrote: ↑Mon Aug 31, 2020 3:16 pm We all have literally no idea how many clubs have gone backwards since last season, because their squads have had to be ripped up and started over with cheaper players because of COVID-19. We will be top half throughout - will be disappointed if we do not go up.
Totally different season coming up - same players or not.

With a settled squad, including emotionally, I firmly believe we can make strides this season. 16th.

Re: WHERE WILL W FINISH
It’s funny how quickly expectations change. Seems like most people thought we’d finish where we did but the general consensus at the end of the season was we underachieved and it was sh*t
