Depressingly had to vote Brophy for LB as with our other two RBs having no attacking threat it's the only way we get any forward movement. Also wanted to vote Turley for RB but he's our only CB with any pace /facepalm

Brophy can only fit into a 4-3-3 as a full back.
If we’re playing that formation properly, he’s actually ideal for the role.

I think I have a fundamentally different view of how that formation works. If you have 3 forwards, and at least one attacking midfielder, you don’t really need an attacking fullback, do you?
Looking at the potential lineups, having 6 players attacking the opposition box seems like it will leave numerous holes. And it’s not like we have tons of pace back that if brophys attacking. Will get done on the counter numerous times imo

I’ve gone with Judd simply because he’s better than Ling and Widdowson because I think Brophy is more affective on the wing

The big clubs play with the front 3 really narrow and it’s up to the full backs to provide the width. They need to be quick, athletic and offensive, Brophy is ideal.

Although the way we play it, with a central lone striker and two quasi wingers, kind of negates the need for this type of full back.

Re: Vote for your full backs in a 433 formation
As I read this now, there have been 84 votes, so 42 for left back, of which 19 have opted for Brophy, 19 for Widdowson and 3 for Ogie.
Which means someone has gone for Ling, Judd or Turley there.

You are having a laugh............surely ?
Of all the excellent right backs we have had play for us......... you pick George Marsh, a young player who is not even a Leyton Orient player, strange choice indeed ?
