12th. I think we've got some pretty excellent players for this level, but I also think we've got some pretty rubbish players for this level which will level out in a pile of mediocrity. I think Embleton's job will largely depend on which effect is stronger. Fun fact, last season we had the most goals conceded above our xG in the league, which isn't a surprise really as our goalkeeping situation was largely terrible, so an injury to Vigouroux will drastically lower where I expect us to place. Widdowson as Ekpiteta's replacement gives me no confidence in a defensive unit I consider weak.

Surely the team needs to be finalised before making predictions? When that’s complete people will be in a better position to predict where we will finish.

LIng stated in the Q&A that the team is finalised. We have 6 forwards and we dont need any more he said. Widdowson will be tried out at centre half so we may not even sign anyone for there.

Some say Orient will be in top 24 in the Division

The only way I can see us finishing 5th is to vastly upgrade on our defence. We would need at least two new first choice defenders for CB and RB. Currently our defence is too weak to finish that high .

Well i am happy that we got the midfielder cisse that we wanted but there is atill a major problem with this clubs recuitment progess and lack of ambition.
There must be a problem when you aell one of your besh centre backs and now the talks have changed to where we are looking for another forward we clearly have a lack of centre backs in the club turley gets injured to much dont play enough games in a season coulson not good enough to slow looks over weight and the club leaving it to later too get one in i would be very happy with 15th at the end of the season

Yes, you can expect us to struggle then . Therefore I’m sticking with my prediction of a 20th place finish .

Going by what was said on the you tube Q&A Martin Ling said that we will go with the six forwards we have plus the defence would remain the same with possibly Widdowson being tried at centre back. Think he said there was still some financial flexibility for additions but that will probably be aimed at the loan market.
Basing things on our squad alone, i can see lower half of the league as there are too many things that are inadequate. Then again it's probably the same with most of our opponents and the only way i can see us challenging for play offs, is if we find a Kevin Campbell type loan signing.

There's several problems with that approach. The main one being that we dont have 6 strikers. We barely have 3.

Wilkinson - Wants to be a winger now and seems to only play on the wing.

Assuming he's also counting:
Dennis - MIA 95% of the time, also a winger by all accounts.
JMD - I mean, this is pushing it.
