It was last year supposedly. If we could get the Louis Dennis that tore us a new one at Bromley he would play every week.

Unfortunately, we have seen nothing resembling that.

He seems like a confidence player.

There’s definitely a player in there. You can see why people take a chance on him.

He needs a proper man manager to get him going, someone like Slade or Justin.

I think a lot of the younger players look up to Jobi, he seems to be an ideal person to have around in these types of situations.

Yes, that’s why I’m saying Louis is a good player. If we can get him fit it would be like having a new signing. He needs a run in the side which I’m hoping Ross will give him.

I agree but he needs to sort his fitness out he's had more niggles than an Austin allegro with 200,000 miles on the clock.

My mates dad had one from new ended up with 145000 on the clock. He refused to get rid of of it, he spent thousands on it in repairs and parts it eventually had an electrical fault of some description and caught fire in Romford, every time we were offered a lift home from football or wherever we made an excuse, the car was awful.

Also went on a cricket tour to Isle of Wight in one (not mine I hasten to add) but we never got there in it, we were on a downhill stretch on our way to catch the ferry at Lymington and the brakes failed, we ended up in a hedge at the side of the road luckily all OK. I reckon somewhere there was an Allegro with 200,000 miles on the clock.

My father had an Allegro, it had a square steering wheel. Most drivers called them a joke and changed them for a round one, eventually Austin did the same.
