Re: Expecting Bad News........
Yup
If the kid scores 20+ goals this season we'll have something to talk about .
At the moment all he is , is Potential having scored half a dozen goals in a few more games.
I look forward to him setting us on fire this season ,
But then i also think dont be an injury prone kid please.

Re: Expecting Bad News........
In some of my other post i have said there is no guarantees that Sotiriou will definetly go onto better things but football has always been a game involving decision making, wages and transfers. We support a low level football club (at the moment) and if you ever want to progress difficult decisions have to be made.
If you produce your own player who shows decent potential then you either reward them and hopefully benefit from it or you lose them and stagnate in the level were at.
There will be O's supporters looking forward to Ruel being a dissapointment and wont wait to come on here slagging him off. Life is full of dissapointments but it's great when you make decisions that bring you successes. The team currently has no real players who are financial assets, that needs to change or this is where we stay.

Re: Expecting Bad News........
He has an agent that is involved with selling young players for big money
Unfortunately for Ruel , most of those were with Elite clubs or top flight clubs
At the very least good championship clubs.
I think his agents didnt realise the gulf 8n class between league 2 & the championship let
alone top fiight or elite clubs at home or in europe.

At the moment all he is, is potential...no kidding!! if we did not offer a decent contract you woul'dant have even seen that.
"I look forward to him setting us on fire this season....Do you really Tuffers, Do you really.
Last line "i also think dont be a injury prone kid please"...What's that relate to 'his wages'.
I'm sure Ruel will be pleased to know that you so much want to see him succeed, so do i because if things dont go well you will ramm that £3k wages quote straight down my throat.

But for a fan to claim a virtual youth player is deemed to be worth.the
biggest wage at the club is a bit of a joke .
15 goals will be decent, but for him to be the star so many think he is, he needs 20+
Ruel wont have signed for 3k a week id say.
As for the last sentence
I just hope he doesnt get kicked or hacked out of the game
