Do Leyton Orient Exist Still?
Waiting on an order that was alllegedly dispatch sometime ago- club say to track parcel online with Royal Mail but don't give tracking number
Parcel not arrived and now well over due.
Try emailing the clubshop via address given in email notifying of dispatch of parcel (retail@leytonorient.com ) These emails are bounced.
Phone number given on email 0208 926 1009 is an invalid number ( fat fingers typed a different number to the one i dialled)
On main website, all contact details have been removed, so its not possible to email or phone anyone.
does the club still exist I ask?

Perhaps they can redeploy some of the coaches to respond to emails; and handle other essential backroom jobs (such as product/order fulfilment), during this 'economic climate'?

I just want ot know why they send out emails during the lockdown period telling you false contact details
Why waste everyone's time giving false and misleading information. Would be better not to give any

Your best bet is Danny Macklin direct via social media these days.

Re: Do Leyton Orient Exist Still?
Been waiting for a refund on 4x West stand Adult seats for the Exeter game since returning the tickets at the end of April.
I know they’re short staffed etc but I can’t get a response to confirm that they have even received the tickets back. ( I’ve lost things in the post before )
I’ve Emailed Lindsey about a month ago and so far nothing.
Danny Macklin’s replies on Twitter are now somewhat sporadic but I think he was trying to help.
It’s £80 that I could do with, having already donated the last 4 home games revenue back to the club.

Maybe that when they said 'dispatched' they actually meant 'its not dispatched' and someone just 'articulated it badly'. It doesn't matter!

Re: Do Leyton Orient Exist Still?
Really frustrating when you have a successful sales team , but dont have the , staff or resources to back it up
we have a positive and forward thinking marketing team , who in the present situation are doing unbelievable.
Danny is out there selling the product but has said we only have 2 people doing the follow up calls working 18 hours a day, and are doing their best but struggling to make the capacity of calls
From a customer point of view I dont want excuses, I just want on time what I purchased
Making the sale is the easy part, meeting and exceeding customer expectation is the hard part

Cut the club some slack - these are difficult times. They are doing the best they can, especially with a reduced staff.spen666 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 2:07 pm Waiting on an order that was alllegedly dispatch sometime ago- club say to track parcel online with Royal Mail but don't give tracking number

Cut the slack for lying?
They say to contact them on a non existent email address
They say to call them on a number that isn't taking calls
They say to track parcel but don't give me the necessary tracking number
They took my payment instantly, so what exactly should I cut them slack for?
Lying?
Theft of my money?
Making it impossible to contact them?
I would have been more sympathetic if they did not give out false information and misleading me

I will try the.net address, but I would expect a business to put the correct reply address in their emails, not purport to send it from and tell you to reply to an email address that doesn't exist.

Or is it being a willy to expect a company not to lie about their contact details?

Re: Do Leyton Orient Exist Still?
Had a Father’s Day mug arrive in pieces, the mrs showed me the packing, ridiculous, basically just wrapped in brown paper, always going to smash in the post. She was pulling her hair out trying to get a refund, tried a number of times, I eventually emailed Lindsey and to be fair she sorted it fairly promptly, but up until that point the service was poor.
Contrast that to ordering a Chester FC mug for an in-law for Christmas, spoke to the club shop on the phone, they couldn’t have been more helpful, and it arrived superbly wrapped in bubble and in a box. It’s really not that difficult to give a bit of customer service!
