No, you brought others into it with your usual whatsbouterry defence, claiming they’re all as bad as each other.

I can show he claimed less:

Anyway, this thread isn't titled Jeremy Corbyn - it's titled Grant Shapps.
Instead of deflecting (as is your normal embarrassingly transparent little ploy) how about commenting on the proven liar, Grant Shapps, instead?

Re: Grant Shapps
That much reported £8.70 comes from the first release of data from IPSA after the expenses scandal, Corybn (along with a load of others) just hadn't got round to putting receipts through for that period but one somehow got through. The list didn't show the 50 odd MP's who had put nothing through at all in that period.
The truth is that rather boringly his expenses were about average for a London MP. Thickos like Thicko Thory will take this as evidence that they are all at it but you'd have to be a really special kind of Thicko to actually think that there is any equivalence between Corbyn and Shapps approach to self enrichment. However, as I may have mentioned before, Thory really is that much of a Thicko.

I've been observing his study as he's been appearing on the news every few weeks and it's clear he's making a conscious effort to dress it to convey the impression he is a serious MP, and not in fact an ex get-rich-quick scheme operator who pretended to be someone else and lied about it.
The latest addition to the ministerial box, books facing outward (a la waterstones) and 'Vote Shapps' banners - is a flag featuring the Union Jack.
He's going for that 3rd world president look.
I don't like to be rude about a particular individual, but he's an utter utter utter c-word.

Had this been Diane Abbott's error, I'm sure that you (and the rest of the blue rinse brigade) would have had lots to say. You all seem rather quiet on the matter. I wonder why?

Thor wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 1:53 pmOK both you and Bonio have taken my words literally. Maybe i should have rephrased it to:-
He (Schapps) doesn't care and there are a number of MP's across all parties who don't care and are only interested in their self serving needs.
Maybe that would have been better and probably more in line with reality than my previous post.
