Hiroshima & Nagasaki
On the 6th & 9th of august 1945
Seems as if a big fuss hasnt been made of these anniversaries

It's taken you nearly a week to post some conspiracy drivel about this. You're slipping.

Terrible tragedy. As well as the raids on Tokyo earlier in 1945 that were some of the worst (if not the worst) non-atomic bombings ever seen. Napalm used for the first time and unimaginable pain on innocent civilians.

Re: 75th anniversary of Atomic bombs
It was a bomb alright. Just not one of your normal run of the mill type terrorist bombs. It was a very neglected leathal mixture of chemicals and gunpowder leaking all over the place that finally mixed together. KABOOM.
The whole lot of officialdom should be blamed from top to bottom and not just the poor slaves who were supposed to look after it.

Re: 75th anniversary of Atomic bombs
Mate don't be silly. All i was saying is what they said on radio 2 news. They said it might have been a missile or a bomb and nothing has been ruled out at this stage.
Thats not a conspiracy, thats just news reporting. Was it either? I have no idea as I've not even watched the footage of the incident.

neither just what the newsreader was saying. No further discussion or in depth analysis of the comment was made.

BBC4 are repeating their Hiroshima bomb doc. It's got some dubious re-enactment scenes and sticks to the questionable Establishment view that it saved net lives by avoiding the need for invasion, but worth watching for the eye witness accounts and old footage.

You said they suggested it might be a bomb.
Whereas what was REALLY said was
Authorities are not ruling out that it was a bomb.
Very different.

Re: 75th anniversary of Atomic bombs
From the same YouTube channel. Apparently due to problems with getting the new Boeing B-29 Superfortress flying and able to carry the new very large and extremely heavy atomic bombs, there was a backup plan to instead use modified RAF Lancaster Bombers. In the end, this never happened. It would seem that the modified RAF Lancaster bomber was the Avro Lincoln.NuneatonO's wrote: ↑Tue Aug 11, 2020 10:52 am This is a superbly researched clip, containing a lot of facts that you may not have previously known about:

An interesting watch, thanks for posting.NuneatonO's wrote: ↑Tue Aug 11, 2020 10:52 am This is a superbly researched clip, containing a lot of facts that you may not have previously known about:
As awful as it sounds to say it, the result of the two bombs being dropped seems to have been the least worst outcome, as the Japanese surrender was not a foregone conclusion and the deaths of millions of civilians ("the glorious death of 100 million"), not to mention horrific losses among soldiers on all sides, would have surely followed had the Japanese fought on as many of their military leaders wanted to.
