Virgin Atlantic Files for Chapter 15
Branson has filed for chapter 15 bankruptcy in the USA. I have copied a link below if anyone is interested in what chapter 15 is. Seems like he’s trying to force the hand of governments and or investors to ratify the prior agreed plan to inject sufficient liquidity back in to the business whilst keeping 51% control of the business.

Got my flight money back last week - after 120 days.
Can’t see the business travel market ever recovering. Who is going to fly trans Atlantic to shake a hand in the future!

There was and will be massive money in it. Someone I know leased planes and he told me of one deal where the company were paying $550k per month and after 200 hours the fee increased by x amount (but was crazy) which I don’t recall. They were flying out of Angola to wherever. He said it was very lucrative.Disoriented wrote: ↑Wed Aug 05, 2020 6:47 amWhen is your bid going in?Thor wrote: ↑Tue Aug 04, 2020 11:01 pm Branson has filed for chapter 15 bankruptcy in the USA. You don’t get to be a billionaire many times over without a lot of income going through your business which is profitable.

As money is just an illusion can you not just make it appear out of nothing ?Thor wrote: ↑Wed Aug 05, 2020 4:43 pmThere was and will be massive money in it. I have always found Branson a particularly horrible person.
In a list of horrible people, he would definitely be in my top ten along with the equally horrible Tim Martin ( Wetherspoons ), Philip Green, & James Dyson.

Didn't he start his business from a phone box with a million pound loan from his dad? Which is substantially more than that today and if you could not make money with that sort of start you might as well give up as a failure.
