Fair point. They should probably make them 20 quid to match the quality.tuffers#1 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 01, 2020 9:51 amAll due respect its a Football shirt not a Fashion itemApple Wumble wrote: ↑Sat Aug 01, 2020 9:33 am But regardless. Shouldn’t expect some quality when they blindly spend that sort of money? Shouldn’t the club be aiming for the highest standards to reward fans, especially at this time? Shouldn’t our job as fans be to hold our club to account if we feel they are taking the p*ss out of the fan base a little bit?
Designed to be worn maybe 40 tims a year on a saturday .
As for that sort of money
Ive owned socks that have cost more than that in the past .
Ok mine were bought at cost price & not retail , but anyone
who thinks that quality & a poly man made fibre belong in th same sentence
Needs to be re-educated quickly .

Re: Home shirt
I was personally handed a signed and worn shirt by Roberto Carlos. Yes, I know I am name dropping but in fairness when you meet the guy who was acclaimed as the World's best full back (at the time), his name has to be thrown in to a thread like this.

Re: Home shirt
Mine arrived today - the other two are on their way soon, I think. I never buy replica, unless it's £10 in the end of season sale, when it represents good value. But this year, for obvious reasons, I made an exception and actually went full-kit-w*nker (well, all three shirts).Apple Wumble wrote: ↑Sat Aug 01, 2020 9:33 am But regardless. Quality is OK, I think. Time will tell, obvs. And clearly, replica is a rip-off, especially when you factor in paying good money to do someone's advertising for them. Personally, I've always felt that they should be paying me £50 to walk around with their name/logo across my rippling, eye-catching pectorals.
Speaking of which, I must also commend the fit of the new kit. Evidently, as it's made for professional athletes, it also fits exceptionally well with my own physique.
(seriously - it may not even be that fifty notes for a glorified T-shirt is actually expensive - perhaps we're all too accustomed to most of our clothing actually being far too cheap?)

Is it a close fit or do you have lots of room like shirts did 10 years ago ?Cheshunto wrote: ↑Thu Aug 06, 2020 5:46 pmI’m about 15 stone and went for the Braces 3rd shirt in 2XL and it fits great, I’m very happySmendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Thu Aug 06, 2020 5:16 pmBumping this again - for those that have received a shirt and tried it on does it come up true to size?Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Sun Aug 02, 2020 12:14 am What is the size like on the shirts? Re: Home shirt
Got my 3XL red shirt this morning (10.8.2020). Fit perfectly and is long. Only gripe is that it should have a collar. Don't buy football shirts very often but was happy to fork out for this one (with permission).
