I would have had him back especially as he has finally found where the goal is.

I liked him. Not the most talented player but a decent guy who always gave it everything he had. If he does join AFC Wimbledon, well I hope he does ok for them in Division One next season. Lastly, last season when Os played at home against Crawley, Palmer came on as a sub and quickly scored two goals for them but had a muted celebration in respect of his time spent at Leyton Orient, nice touch from ''Ollie'' !!

He was, and still is, one of the nicest guy's in football, but he was bloody awful for us. Apart from Alabi, probably one of the worst strikers we ever had.
If people on here actually want him back, they obviously don't want Orient getting out of this division .

I think you might have a bit of memory loss. Plenty worse than him have passed through our place. A very honest player - and thats why (a) he's held in relatively good regard at the Orient and (b) why he has recognised his abilities, worked hard and done a lot better than many we've had. Scored more last season that both of our new strikers combined.....

Well said, in fact for the first few months of last season, Palmer was the leading goal scorer in Division Two. Ollie joined Crawley town in 2018 and his record for them as follows, 27 goals in 68 games, that is not a bad rate of scoring at all !! Plus this little bit of information..........
''On 26 June 2017, Palmer signed a two-year contract with newly promoted League Two club Lincoln City. He scored his first goal for Lincoln in an EFL Trophy tie against Mansfield Town on 29 August. Palmer came on as a 63rd-minute substitute as Lincoln beat Shrewsbury Town 1–0 at Wembley Stadium in the 2018 EFL Trophy Final on 8 April 2018,[28] having been named in the Team of the Tournament prior to the match.''

I always felt that he was hard done by when he was here. I had no doubt that he'd come good.

Agree 100% - a real trier and much better player than he was given credit for as evidenced by his subsequent career.

Worked hard. Bit of a donkey. Nowhere near the worst 10 strikers I’ve seen down here, but probably a shout for the high teens in a worst 20.

when he come on he lifted the crowd with his enthusiasm and determination, and changed the game. Done the same for Crawley at our place last season. But its time to move forward.

Much as Matt Harrold did on several occasions for us.

So did Raymond the Roller, but I wouldn’t ask him to start up front.
