No negativity or bashing Ross/Martin Ling (Macklin is fair game in this one though).
For me... Seeing our great 16 starting every week and giving his usual 9/10 performances. Seeing Happe getting even better. JMD fulfilling his potential.

Looking forward to... hmmm... seeing Cissé and McAnuff on the field together perhaps and Turley back fit. Those aside it's a pretty uninspiring squad lacking in quality. Just hope it's a comfortable mid-table side with no relegation fears.

Thin gruel ain’t it. Brophy running round and round in circles before he overhits the final ball or falls over will probably be the limit in terms of getting the crowd of their feet. Can’t wait.

Really struggling to think of anything on the pitch tbh. Looking forward to playing Southend and up at the Reebok again.
And the expiration of a lot of dumb contracts that means that hopefully in 2021/2022 we can have a push at a top half finish.

With away trips possibly not on for a while yet, and it being unlikely I can congregate with all my chums and get sloshed, next season may be thin gruel indeed. With luck, we might finally see us appoint a managerial team that's capable of getting this club to where it should be.Apple Wumble wrote: ↑Mon Jul 20, 2020 7:30 pm Really struggling to think of anything on the pitch tbh. Whether you're a brother or whether you're a mother
You're stayin' alive, stayin' alive
Feel the city breaking and everybody shaking
And we're stayin' alive, stayin' alive
Ah, ah, ah, ah, stayin' alive, stayin' alive
Ah, ah, ah, ah, stayin' alive

Re: What are you looking forward to next season?
From a selfish point of view, living a long way from Brisbane Road, seeing 3pm Saturday games live streamed would be nice if there has to be reduced capacity or no fans in the ground.
Football wise, unless Sotiriou re-signs, I'm not that excited. Could very well be a dull lower mid-table season, waiting for some of the millstone contracts to expire so we can improve the squad.

Watching the O’s run out to Tajauna Taxi once more and winning a game of football.

Being able to hear R***r's mindless abuse of the opposition bench far easier than previously with an emptier ground.

Don't think I've ever heard Tajauna Taxi, how does it go?

Always liked the look of Bolton's stadium, so looking forward to that away trip.
It'll also be nice if we have a cup run and get to wear the braces kit more than once.

Re: What are you looking forward to next season?
I would hope we could push on a bit from last season. A comfortable mid-table finish or a shot at the play offs should be the minimum. Anyway, playing Southend again is the game I'm looking forward to the most . We always have an entertaining game against them.
