The away game is iconic and the footage is really good quality.

Definitely worth a watch if you're an old git like me from the era of Heald, Hales, Howard and Hull.

Eventful away game. Went up on the coach it was a lovely pleasant day nice and warm and sunny. We got to Scarborough and as soon as we got to the ground a sea fret rolled in it was a bit misty and bloody freezing. Once inside we got met by a hail of stones and rocks being thrown into the away end from outside the ground. Police sorted it after a few minutes and we settled back and watched what was to this day the best defensive display I have seen from any Os team. The pressure was non stop but to a man the Os threw themselves in front of shots made great tackles and deservedly rode their luck.

On the way back around York there was an almighty storm which flooded some of the roads and made our journey home much longer than it should have been.

But of course well worth it in the end.

went to both games and brilliant memories
the last game of the season before the play offs was home against scunthorpe and cooper was on fire we won 4-1 with a brilliant cooper lob, cooper hat trick. Wont spoil the highlights but the atmosphere at the home game was special, and before you watch the away game have a look at the alamo.

The away game was not enjoyable, but what a team effort, what a night , what a result, no nails left but the players just wanted this fantastic performance

One of the most backs to the wall games I've ever witnessed. I got the feeling at the time that Frankie copied the tactics that Clough used to employ in European away games. That being pretty much the whole team defending on the edge of the area, looking to exhaust the opposition, and try and catch them on the break.

We did go forward a couple of times if I remember correctly, and to emerge with a clean sheet with the sheer amount of minutes we spent defending was some achievement.

Oh sh*t of course LG. Old age creeping in. Think I must have been drinking on the coach! . Had a weird feeling was 2-0 aggregate, and was at the Wrexham away game too which I 'think' was 0-0 (!)

Every man to a T played their part but for me Dicko was the stand out player that evening..He was immense..Great away day.I remember the Scarborough fans watching from trees around the ground

Dicko was immense Mr B. Your recollection is spot on.
Thankfully both games are courtesy of the Scarboorugh camerman and not Charlie Dunford, so the quality is really quite good.
It will definitely be worth tuning in and it will definitely evoke a few memories, especially the 2nd leg!!!!

Well done Neil in finally tracking this down. As you say the quality is obviously better than Dunford who Steve Jenkins and myself used to joke filmed his matches in 'bastardvision' . The commentator for Scarborough went on to cover games for BBC York and it was he who introduced a young lady to Russell Slade, who eventually became Mrs Slade.
Dickos goal line clearance was nothing short of magnificent. It was like the Alamo in the 2nd half and had Scarborough grabbed a 2nd we would almost certainly have lost. I remember shoes being lobbed at us from outside the ground and the sight of the late Lou Day hanging on the fencing in stoppage time screaming 'get it away.... get it away'. Joyous scenes at the end, but I am sure most people there from Orient lost about 5 years off of their life expectancy that night.
