Not much hope for the new season cards and electric readers at the turnstiles. I gave it 15 minutes of the first game before they go back to having people on there.

How haven't they got a working payment system online, its not 1996?

I think the issue is that Lindsey has to keep calling people until she reaches them - I imagine there are some people who for one reason or another are hard to reach or don't answer unfamiliar numbers.

I don't see why people can't pay directly using their banking apps. They could use their existing customer number as the reference and that with a name should be sufficient identification, and it would get the money in faster.

Give them a break you moaners. If you think they are not trying their best - well if I said what I really want to say to youse, I'd get banned.

They'll take our money in due course. I'm happy with that.

There will be people on there, they're handheld scanners as it would be too expensive to replace the turnstiles with electronic gates.

Lindsey just rang me - they'd tried twice before on different days but I couldn't take their calls then, so it was 3rd time lucky for them.

All over and done with in less than 3 mins. Very efficient IMO

But when Mrs NES and I are able to actually take up our seats remains to be seen.

They had to call me twice cos the c/c I was using had been stopped by the company for inactivity. There's a lot of reasons why they have to call people multiple times I'd also guess that some of the people that might take up the slack are currently furloughed.

Always been a nightmare getting through to the office. Incredible when most of the time it is people trying to give club money. Half the problem there, antiquated practices they follow.

I don’t understand why they have to call anybody.
If they’d asked people to send a cheque then wouldn’t this be easier ??

most people don't have a cheque book now. I haven't had one for at least 5 years.

Is anyone there at all? I was getting replies from Lindsey but she seems to have disappeared as well and she's usually very efficient and responsive. No replies to multiple emails since 20th June. I've been emailing her and the general enquiries email addy. Maybe the delay is being caused by the tens of thousands of new applicants?

Ok, fair point, but I’ve had to use a cheque recently to pay for quite a few things and Santander send me a cheque book every 6 months or so. I just think that to expect one or two people to call over 2,000 people is very backward, I know we’re talking about Orient, but even so.

Its now almost the end of July and I have have not heard anything substantive from the club about my season ticket renewal
I have received one or two 'bear with us' emails including one from Danny Macklin, but its now three days until the early bird deadline expires

I have decided to leave this whole thing in the lap of the Gods. Whereas I once was keen to bump my season ticket number from 2 to 4, I now couldn't give a crap. The seats I have always had will most probably get reallocated meaning I won't get to sit near my mates so what is the point in going.

Is anyone else getting the cold shoulder from the club about their season ticket renewal? Or anyone else waiting months and months like me?

Its pathetic really
