Re: Home attendances
Should be even better with 2 more games to go. They should both attract big home crowds

Also pretty mad that our highest is under 7,000 when we’ve sold out.Apple Wumble wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2019 10:43 am Pretty mad that our lowest crowd has been 3700 this year.

Re: Home attendances
Maybe need to segregate upper from lower tier and sell upper to home fans. Eastleigh had all their fans at the bottom. Should also be a few less unused kids seats next season.

loughtonos Mainly caused by lack of away support.
6,643 v Wrexham (931 Away) doesn't support that. Yes I know it was a TV game, but it did look more than 6,643 on the day.

No, because a segregation requirement is separate facilities.

Re: Home attendances
Orient appeared to have prepared for that for the Eastleigh game. The Eastleigh fans were in the lower tier and there was a turnstile for Home Supporters for the upper tier. It wasn't used as there was spare capacity in the north side of the east stand.Mr. Peanutbutter wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2019 2:51 pmNo, because a segregation requirement is separate facilities.

Re: Home attendances
Correct . The crowd was lower than expected at the Eastleigh match but extra stewards were in place should it have been necessary for home fans to go in the area above the away fans

Re: Home attendances
Yes. !00% certain. Not sure how many would support Braintree, but segregating 160 or so fans into the lower tier should be simple enough by leaving front couple of rows free in the upper tier and setting up some portaloos and a burger van via the side access. The turnstile access must have already been dealt with as per Eastleigh game, but as I never went in that way, I can't say how.Disoriented wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2019 4:26 pmAre you sure? Besides it seems clear from the Braintree site, they only have that lower section with just over 300 tickets for sale...

Re: Home attendances
and this as well
https://www.leytonorient.com/news/2019/ ... braintree/
The Club will open an additional section of the East Stand in order to accomodate high demand for the final day fixture against Braintree Town.
The south-east section of the East Stand will be made available for home supporters with additional stewarding to be put in place to segregate home and away supporters.
The concourse will be unsegregated but additional stewarding will be in place. As a result, no alcohol will be sold in that area of the ground.
Tickets will be available to purchase from 10am tomorrow (Tuesday April 16) from the Club's Ticketing website.

That board has been up and running for years. I can't be expected to wade through 3 pages of dross to find it.
