Olympic stadium

Post by kokomO »

Would you take a season over at Stratford if it meant you could get in and watch, with social distancing?

The club have surely got to have this (or something similar arrangement) on the radar if it’s the difference between that or playing in front of 0 - 2,000 supporters at Brisbane Road.

Interesting idea but unlikely to happen IMO

But I’d take it if it did

I agree but the club would have to supply the binoculars

Maybe, but would be better to play at any other large capacity (> 40,000) London ground given how far away the pitch is from the stands. Stratford would be easiest to get to, but not much more difficult to get to Highbury, Tottenham or Fulham. Maybe even Wembley.

Don't know if there would be much point. I'd need a lot more information re what the costs would be as against the lost revenue from playing behind closed doors or with a reduced capacity at Brisbane Rd.
