I’m sure Sky have made him a very good offer - seems an absolute natural to TV.

Yup I've thought that too when I see him doing media. The experience of an ex-pro at the highest level and with the intelligence and communication to put his points across. Seems wasted as a coach at an L2 club tbh.

Guess it all comes down to how badly he wants to try and push his body for 1 more year on the pitch and whether that injury is fully healed up and will last a season without flaring up again.

I expect Ruel to sign for Peterborough next week he's a talented lad and we would at least get a fee. Marv is a decent player but he could end up going backwards if he doesn't get a move that sees him a regular starter in League One otherwise might as well stay at the Os.

Ogie I hope signs and gets game time at centre half even if it's mainly in the cup games to start with he is still raw but his time at Dover really helped him.

I think a Jobi will get another years playing contract with coaching duties thrown in ad per last season.

Should have space in the squad for a defensive midfielder (Cisse please) a centre half and striker hopefully we'll have the funds!
If we don't get Cissé, an Ekpiteta replacement and a striker should Ruel go I see another relegation battle next season and hoping for our opponents to go bust to avoid the trapdoor.
There are going to be clubs a lot worse off than us when it comes to squad size and quality, it's in some people's DNA to be pessimistic. If money is tight to expand the squad I could see a couple of season long loanies coming in from Spurs.
I know it was a while ago but do you remember just how bad we were before Cissé and Sotiriou came into the squad? Absolutely toothless upfront and porous midfield leaking goals all over the place.

Being in a position where we have to hope for other clubs going bust / having a weaker squad is a dangerous place to be. Got away with it last season with Bury and Stevenage but can't afford to gamble with our league place.
