No we should not calm down, we must overreact to every rumour or when other teams sign players that we'd have quite liked.Lofctillwedie wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2020 11:21 am Everyone calm down he’s only wearing that because his good mate mamadou thiam plays for Barnsley and he’s give him a kit it seems as he posted something else and it said thiam on the back.

Any real fan is obviously going to be pissed off at the club for missing out on his signing, especially to a tinpot club like that in the arse end of nowhere. Genuine supporters want us to do well next season, sorry if expressing that upsets anyone. Ling has let yet another one slip through his fingers, yet a-bloody-gain. Embleton has to take some of the blame too, of course, but ultimately we know where the buck lies.

Re: Ousseynou Cisse released by Gillingham.
Anyone will be dissapointed to miss out on his services but if he went to Barnsley thats his right of choice and decision.
To call Barnsley a tin-pot club, arse end of nowhere is pretty insulting. They are in the championship, pay better wages, larger attendances and have played at a higher level than us for many years.
Barnsley is in Yorkshire which has beautiful country and villages on it's doorstep, close to the city of Sheffield and around 30mins from Leeds. I lived in Yorkshire for 5 years and it was a lovely part of the country.
Maybe RedO it's more of a dig at management but if the club do sign Cisse, with all the above against them, then i'm sure you will be the first to praise Ling and the club.

They won’t sign him anyway as they’re model is to sign young players across Europe and sell them on for higher profitsAckneyAwks wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2020 12:57 pm Anyone will be dissapointed to miss out on his services but if he went to Barnsley thats his right of choice and decision.

FFS Ling. Anyone who thought we had a snowflake of signing Ouss with Ling as our DOF is seriously deluded.
Davis, Fletcher, Adams, Alabi, Cisse - some recruitment resume.

Agree, we should add Bonne and Edinburgh to that list. Though personally I thought they turned out to be excellent.Disoriented wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2020 1:08 pm FFS Ling. Anyone who thought we had a snowflake of signing Ouss with Ling as our DOF is seriously deluded.

I'm not sure he has signed for Barnsley. But if he has would you not say the fact they are 2 divisions above us might be a more deciding factor than the DOF's ineffectiveness?Disoriented wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2020 1:08 pm FFS Ling. Exactly. 2 divisions higher and at least double the money tough decision.

Lolz. Quite appropriate too as Barnsley is Kes-land.RedO wrote:

Where does the buck lie if we miss out on Cisse ? Probably Boris or maybe Trump ?RedO wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2020 12:04 pmEh?Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2020 11:57 amNo we should not calm down, we must overreact to every rumour or when other teams sign players that we'd have quite liked.Lofctillwedie wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2020 11:21 am Everyone calm down he’s only wearing that because his good mate mamadou thiam plays for Barnsley and he’s give him a kit it seems as he posted something else and it said thiam on the back.

Re: Ousseynou Cisse released by Gillingham.
Ouss will sign for us. Guaranteed.
That's not inside info but happy clappyism brought about by 3 months of isolation.
Probably not worth the paper it's printed on, but it's my marker to say "I told you so" when it happens.
