Josh Coulson Song
Thought this tune was unique to us but heard other teams singing (with their own words) it during the play offs. Where does it come from?

Re: Josh Coulson Song
Sadly there are very few club specific songs these days.aylesburyos wrote: ↑Thu May 16, 2019 3:21 pm Thought this tune was unique to us but heard other teams singing (with their own words) it during the play offs. Where does it come from?
Go to any football match and you will hear the same tunes being mangled by fans with wording adjusted to their club
For example many clubs have a version of this song or the Allez, Allez, Allez song.
West Ham with bubbles are one of few to have unique song.
Even Orient rarely sing the Chim Chim Cheroo song.
It's sad that football is becoming more identikit

Re: Josh Coulson Song
Must make things easy for the sort of people that purport to support a myriad of football clubs, I guess.
Orient songs which I believe are unique:
La la la la la oi
You're so loud you sound like Aldershot
The orient clap clap orient clap clap (ok, I know this was nicked from Germany back in the late 90s, but I've not heard any one in this country sing it)
You don't know what a donut is, doo dah
Oh Paul Mays mum
That's a pretty decent selection imo.

Re: Josh Coulson Song
Saddo that I am, I've just checked the actual lyrics for the Earth, Wind and Fire song that we use for super Joshy Coulson.
Ba de ya - say do you remember
Ba de ya - dancing in September
Ba de ya - never was a cloudy day
