Refunds for the cancelled games
Have the club announced what will be happening with the money from the cancelled games yet?

Re: Refunds for the cancelled games
Neither have the NBA or NHL seasons but I was refunded money for games I was supposed to be at.
I'd be happy for the money to come off of next year's season ticket rather than a refund but they haven't said anything.

What were the NHL games you were supposed to be at out of interest?BiggsyMalone wrote: ↑Thu Jun 04, 2020 9:55 amNeither have the NBA or NHL seasons but I was refunded money for games I was supposed to be at.

It's a strange one with no new holding statement released by Orient even if there is no news at present, though maybe this is down to club staff being furloughed. You're not going to be the only one wondering.
On an unrelated but sort of related note I'm still waiting to hear about refunds for the Hella Mega show at the end of June at the former Olympic Stadium. There's no way in a million years it's going ahead and the shows in other countries before and after it have been postponed, but it's still showing as taking place. Assuming that's been held up by contractuals and them hoping that West Ham (who take priority) now need the stadium on that date so the event organisers get some sort of compensation.

Yeah. I don't disagree but its obvious the club want to hold onto the money for as long as possible so will leave it as long as possible. Sort of understand that but would be nice for a statement of intent and timescales. Some people need every penny they can get atm.BiggsyMalone wrote: ↑Thu Jun 04, 2020 9:55 amNeither have the NBA or NHL seasons but I was refunded money for games I was supposed to be at.

Rangers vs Blue Jackets. It was the only hockey game when I was supposed to be in New York. I forgot about that Hella Mega thing, I'm in the same boat. They might reschedule it to next year.Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Thu Jun 04, 2020 10:09 amWhat were the NHL games you were supposed to be at out of interest?BiggsyMalone wrote: ↑Thu Jun 04, 2020 9:55 amNeither have the NBA or NHL seasons but I was refunded money for games I was supposed to be at.

I just wish the club would say 'these are the options we're looking at' and give a general time frame.

I appreciate it’s down to individual circumstances but I will neither claim nor accept a refund.

Re: Refunds for the cancelled games
On another note I was taking my daughter to see a Netball Superleague which was cancelled a week or so ago. I got the e-mail today about my options.
There were three options
1) credit for a game next year
2) gift the tickets to someone else
3) a refund.
Would think the o's would do the same for individual match tickets.

Re: Refunds for the cancelled games
I only have two refunds so far. Arsenal for a couple of games and SeeTickets for a West End show. I had to argue with SeeTickets on the transaction fee which they retained for postage & packing. Incredible as they never sent me any tickets. So I got that in the end.
Ryanair are dicking around offering vouchers rather than a refund. Saracens waiting for clarification on Premiership season. And gigs and festivals getting rearranged to later in the year when they are pretty certain not to take place.
As I was paying on the day this season, no Orient refund due.

Danny Macklin posted a couple of weeks ago on twitter that the club are working on a range of options and an announcement will follow the official EFL announcement which is likely to be next Tuesday I believe.

Re: Refunds for the cancelled games
I think the offer will be around giving back something, but which does not cost the club any financial outlay. That to me would be a sensible approach. Something like you are owed £20 (for example) we will give you 3 complimentary streamed games. That way the customer is happy to choose 3 away games that he or she may not have gone to, they get to watch for free, the club does not have to lay out hard cash and the cash flow does not take a hit of x amount.
Those people may like what they see and subscribe to further games thus bringing in much needed revenue to the club. Win win for all concerned.

Re: Refunds for the cancelled games
I bought 4 West Stand tickets for the Exeter game which should have been our last home game.
I returned the tickets to the club around the end of April but haven’t heard anything back as yet.
I guess they will wait until Tuesday’s EFL meeting to announce how they will handle refunds as the meeting will confirm that the L2 season is over.

Re: Refunds for the cancelled games
Open question.
I paid for my new ST with a credit card on 24 May. Exactly a week later I have a £25 refund from LOFC. Connected to the new or old ST?
(And please don't tell me to phone the Club, as this is not high on my list of things to do today.)

You could send Danny Macklin an Email, he usually answers fairly quickly.Orient_Man_And_Boy wrote: ↑Fri Jun 05, 2020 3:18 pm Open question.

I didn't manage to get a refund for the cancelled Forest Green game before lockdown as was going to rearranged game. Will this be carried over perhaps.

Reckon you would need to talk to Forest Green on that one.LeytonstoneRed07 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 05, 2020 3:46 pm I didn't manage to get a refund for the cancelled Forest Green game before lockdown as was going to rearranged game. Will this be carried over perhaps.

Although I’m holding off buying a new season ticket until I know what the deal is with next season. I’ve no interest in attending reduced capacity games or whatever the solution is.
I’ll return when football is back to “normal”. Whenever that is.
