Rosie Duffield
So old rosie broke lockdown rules by allowing her lover who incidentally was married at the time to visit her and go on long walks with her. He has since moved in with her. So a marriage wrecker. She has resigned the whip.
I wonder if Sir Kier will.now sack her like he said he would if cummings had been responsible to him.
Also in the interests if fairness, let the vilification of her commence among this left wing board.
Let see if we can match the Cummings thread for posts or is this just a hypocritical board?

Starmer doesn't need to sack her, she said sorry, and resigned from the Labour front bench.Thor wrote: ↑Sun May 31, 2020 4:24 pm So old rosie broke lockdown rules by allowing her lover who incidentally was married at the time to visit her and go on long walks with her. Cummings didn't say sorry, and refused to resign.
There, I've explained it for you. Matter closed

Re: Rosie Duffield
She also wasn’t partially responsible for putting the restrictions together.
What she did was wrong. She’s done the right thing and the matter is over with. Amazing what acting quickly and fairly can do.

Sounds nearly as despicable as a former Tory Mayor of London knocking off a yank pole dancer; before bunging her 100 Grand of tax-payers money, doesn't it.Digby Chicken Caesar wrote: ↑Sun May 31, 2020 5:36 pm Breaking lockdown to be a home wrecker. Sounds lovely

I suppose it could do, but as he was cleared of any wrong doing I think you need to get your coat.NuneatonO's wrote: ↑Sun May 31, 2020 5:51 pmSounds nearly as despicable as a former Tory Mayor of London knocking off a yank pole dancer; before bunging her 100 Grand of tax-payers money, doesn't it.Digby Chicken Caesar wrote: ↑Sun May 31, 2020 5:36 pm Breaking lockdown to be a home wrecker. Cummings has been cleared of any wrong-doing by Johnson - does that mean he wasn't lying either?Thor wrote: ↑Sun May 31, 2020 5:54 pmI suppose it could do, but as he was cleared of any wrong doing I think you need to get your coat.NuneatonO's wrote: ↑Sun May 31, 2020 5:51 pmSounds nearly as despicable as a former Tory Mayor of London knocking off a yank pole dancer; before bunging her 100 Grand of tax-payers money, doesn't it.Digby Chicken Caesar wrote: ↑Sun May 31, 2020 5:36 pm Breaking lockdown to be a home wrecker. If you honestly believe the accounts of Arcuri and the Etonian Spaffer, then you truly are gullible beyond belief.

Re: Rosie Duffield
I never said that did I? I don't believe or trust a lot of politicians.
I also don't run the inquiries or whatever they have been investigated by. But, as you said he was guilty I was just pointing out he was exonerated by his peers. Now that's not my view or opinion just the facts as presented to us mere sheep.

She did wrong, admitted it and has rightfully resigned from her front bench role.Digby Chicken Caesar wrote: ↑Sun May 31, 2020 6:15 pmIf you're going to engage in whatabouterry at least pick a comparable caseNuneatonO's wrote: ↑Sun May 31, 2020 5:51 pmSounds nearly as despicable as a former Tory Mayor of London knocking off a yank pole dancer; before bunging her 100 Grand of tax-payers money, doesn't it.Digby Chicken Caesar wrote: ↑Sun May 31, 2020 5:36 pm Breaking lockdown to be a home wrecker. What more is there to say - other than she clearly has more guts than Cummings.

Re: Rosie Duffield
Bit of an own goal here Thory. No comparison with Cummings as that little poo poo is refusing to admit any wrong-doing, or apologise whereas Duffield immediately stood down. If you were trying to illustrate how this Labour MP has behaved honourably as opposed to that cheating toe-rag Cummings then I commend you.Thor wrote: ↑Sun May 31, 2020 4:24 pm So old rosie broke lockdown rules by allowing her lover who incidentally was married at the time to visit her and go on long walks with her. Re: Rosie Duffield
What about a prison sentence?
You’re right, of course she should step down. It’s weak from SirKier if he lets her get away with this.

To put things into context for the non-thinkers on this Board. Dominic Cummings subjected his wife to torture by driving the very sick lady with Covid 19 for almost the whole length of England, at the same time endangering the wee mite of a son by placing him in the same car. Infecting God knows how many other people in the process. Breaking all the Lockdown Rules he put in place as de facto Prime Minister. Rosie just indulged in a bit of outdoor adult fun well away from other people. Unfortunately she got grassed up by lover' s ex-wife. No comparison. Rosie did the honourable resignation. DC still de facto PM.

But sir kier said he'd sack Cummings. Has he sacked dear home wrecker rosie yet? A sign of weakness has emerged already if he do t follow through with what he said.

Re: Rosie Duffield
You can't sack an MP from being an MP (unless they get a custodial sentence - in which case Parliament can trigger the Recall process (her "crime" doesn't fall into that category by a very long chalk). You CAN sack an unelected advisor. You can sack a member of the Cabinet / shadow cabinet - provided they've not pre-emptied that by resigning.
Hope this helps.
