Bandoff - Cheese Edition - Momentous result

Post by StillSpike »

OMG ! Who could have foreseen that one ? Cheddar, widely tipped to romp through the whole competition against all comers, has been defeated by plucky (and - to some - yucky) Stilton. All those who Pass the Port in the right direction have banded together and yanked the iron out of the fire. Maybe boarders were thinking of the poorer mild versions of cheddar and that caused them to sway away from the favourite. Who knows?

In other news, Mozzerella and Feta couldn't be separated democratically, so had to rely on the arbitrary nature of a coin toss - Mozz won - pizzerias will be breathing a sigh of relief - no so Greek restaurants.

Next up - the Semi Finals - will Stilton continue to triumph ? (the way does look pretty open now) . In SF2 it's looking like Camembert should win, but who can tell with Bandoff?

Real shame not enough people appreciate a quality Gouda. Far superior to Danish Blue.
