Not that this should be taken as an indicator for my age, but; I bought a pair of those Sketchers not too long ago, and they're slip-ons but with realistic looking faux laces. Very comfy too.

Re: Dont Google it! Ask The Forum.
Nooe
I had a pair bought for my Birthday
Puma disc £110 in 2016 direct from puma website
Which was cheaper than any major outlet if sports
clothing.
Bought another pair the next year exactly same shoe in april 2017 fir £55
& a different pair of puma disc for £39.99 &
A pair of adidas for a £20.
Im very heavy on footwear .
I worked fir blacks leeisure , before dodgy mike owned them & numerous sports outfitters.
Supination & a heavy step is my biggest problem
So No INFLATED prices as you claimed.
Sorry

Re: Dont Google it! Ask The Forum.
I don't get it. I looked on that M&M website and filtered for mens trainers in the £15-£30 price bracket. All of the trainers listed there just looked like they were worth no more than £30.
Take these Puma trainers as an example. The RRP is claimed to be £109.99, but I'm now being told that I can grab them for a bargain at just £29.99!
I admit I'm not one who is into spending money on branded trainers, so this may all be lost on me, but surely that's bollocks? I'm the last person to credit the public with much intelligence, but please don't tell me that there were plenty of people willing to part with £109.99 for that kind of crap. My faith in humanity is low enough as it is.

They're not even called air hostesses anymore. They're now called Flight Attendants.
Long gone are the days when you could call one over to pour you a drink and give her a cheeky spank on the 'arris.
It's P.C. gone mad!

Nike have sold $70 million of 1 piece of footwear in over 60 odd variations.

Re: Dont Google it! Ask The Forum.
I just cannot relate to spending £400 on shoes.
The most I've ever spent on shoes is about £150. But that was for formal/work wear. For anything else I try and get the cheapest, but quality, footwear I can get. Which normally means spending between £30 to £50. Cheaper usually (but not always) means compromising on quality, and more expensive usually (but not always) means you're paying for branding.
I'm not adverse to brands, BTW, but will avoid anything that positions a logo in an overtly visible location.
I'm also not adverse to buying a cheap pair of beach sandals for £2 from Primark, as I can just bin them at my holiday destination before heading back to the airport.

And Here Dunners is the Difference between "branding" & quality
You probably have never heard of the shoe manufacturer.&
I guarantee you woud never have heard of my Favourite knitwear
Company .
My £400 shoes cost me about £150 + vat so
not much difference to what you would pay .
Obviously aimed at people who have a very large disposable income .
I dont drive or own a Car & saved my self yearly,
insurance, mot, parking, petrol , congestion etc.
