The Jeremy Kyle show gone
Canned by ITV following the suicide of a guest. Glad it and it’s Lie Detector with it are no more. I wonder how many lives have been destroyed over the years with incorrect results.

Ask yourself why, if lie detectors are accurate do the English Legal System not use them

Re: The Jeremy Kyle show gone
Good riddance.
Used to boil my piss every time he'd harangue someone after they'd 'failed' one of his sh*tty, exploitative tests: "THIS PROVES YOU'RE A LIAR! YOU'RE A LIAR! OHHH THE TEST IS WRONG IS IT?!!" while the disclaimer rolled across the bottom of the screen admitting it's neither fully scientifically accepted nor 100% accurate.
As the OP says, how many relationships and lives has this man spoiled?
And don't even get me started on the holier than thou act of a love cheat addict...

Re: The Jeremy Kyle show gone
Cos they've managed to put a bit of distance/time between filming and guests killing themselves.

Re: The Jeremy Kyle show gone
All above shows forced to endure or go for a drive in my car when visiting young women relatives, plus my girlfriend is an avid watcher of Corrie and Eastenders, she loves them plus Bollywood films and silly Indian soap operas !! What with her brother who watches every single tv show involving doctors and hospitals, be it real life or fictional ones like Casualty, Holby City, BBC Doctors which is around 1.45 pm.... OMG, get a life all of them like writing comments in the Leyton Orient forum !! !

And no doubt got paid for going on them.
Dont know about this particular show, but on the Jerry Springer shows, it all looked rather false and staged.

People who watch this and similar rubbish are of the same ilk as people who buy drugs. They know that by perpetuating such things, people lives will be snuffed out or end up not being worth living. I wish people would think about the consequences of their actions.

At least you've seen the programme. I've never seen it. Did you watch it most days?Proposition Joe wrote: ↑Wed May 15, 2019 1:37 pm Good riddance.

This is starting to get uncanny....I've been saying this for years!
That's twice today I've been in total agreement with you.
Spen, I'm starting to think that we have more in common than I thought.

Interesting comment because on the odd occasion they did do good. Legitimise the show stuff. But I don’t think one suicide and who knows what other untold damage justifies the way they went about the programme.

Re: The Jeremy Kyle show gone
Absolutely.
I don't watch this type of 'car crash' telly but, I was once forced to endure about 15 minutes of Kyle whilst sitting in a dentist's waiting room. It was pathetic.
This show ran for 15 years (I believe) so anybody who applied to go on it after the first season was shown would have known exactly what was coming. Had nobody been vain and stupid enough to have taken part, the show would have died within months. It takes two to tango. I have no sympathy at all for stupid people who chose to air their dirty laundry on telly in a desperate bid for an Andy Warhol moment.
