Who would lend at that detail - I hate using the term, as they all should be, but genuine question - why would I lend you money knowing that you'd pay me back exactly the same amount in 3 years (never mind a tiny bit less)?

Yeah, basically. The UK is a bit of an outlier in terms of free banking, so don't be surprised to see charges being introduced as standard. And equities are just, well, weird at the moment.

Quite an interesting piece on the more or less podcast on how the number of tests is being fiddled. I suppose most people just expect it now, straight out of the populist playbook to make people weary of arguing over petty things like facts. I'm sure he couldn't be happier when there's a dull argument about numbers that he can just fob off with more bluster, get everyone bogged down in details and no know one focuses on how there still isn't any coherent plan for controlling any further outbreak.

People need to understand that many schools have NEVER closed. Even during the school holidays. Particularly in the young age group. My daughter teaches at a local school, they have never closed. The reason, children of key workers and other with difficulties need to have their children looked after because alternative care is not available.

Staff work o a rota system, my daughter has been into school to work. The only difference 1st June will make is that numbers will be greater, maybe.

I'd also go that some schools haven't stepped upto the plate my daughters one has had two of the governors resign over the lack of assistance that the parents have been given.
