Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero: "The majority of players are scared because they have children and families".
He says pretty much the same as Jobi.

Re: McAnuff uneasy about a return to action
Looks like the season for League One and Two clubs could be over next week with the PFA pushing for an abandonment.
Leaked conversation between the Bristol Rovers PFA delegate and a colleague after a telephone conference between EFL, PFA and the clubs, also no fans at games until January 2021 at the earliest. Just wish they would make a decision now and end the uncertainty.

Still hoping to finish Premiership and Championship.

Re: McAnuff uneasy about a return to action
If the premier league don't finish the season and play the contracted amount of matches they will have to return some of the television money. I think the same scenario applies to the EFL but obviously it's nothing like the premiership billions.Max B Gold wrote: βFri May 01, 2020 12:30 amAll about the moneyTop of the JES wrote: βFri May 01, 2020 12:27 am Looks like the season for League One and Two clubs could be over next week with the PFA pushing for an abandonment.

The money is irrelevant as far as I'm concerned. There's no way any football should be played--end of.

If that happens football in the lower leagues in this country will be on it's deathbed if not already counted out.Max B Gold wrote: βFri May 01, 2020 12:30 amAll about the moneyTop of the JES wrote: βFri May 01, 2020 12:27 am Looks like the season for League One and Two clubs could be over next week with the PFA pushing for an abandonment.

Re: McAnuff uneasy about a return to action
No, Jobi's main concerns were his parents and his mother in law. Who he's not supposed to be seeing, anyway, so it's a non-issue.
My parents are over seventy, so they are in that most at-risk group in terms of age. My mother-in-law who spends a lot of time with us, has had respiratory issues in the past. So she's very much in the high-risk category and I would certainly be very, very reluctant to go and put myself back in an environment where I could then potentially pass something on to my parents or my mother-in-law

They have to finish the Premier League one way or the other. Not only are there commercial commitments but teams like Leeds will have lost millions if they don't get promoted let alone clubs vying for Euro places. If they don't finish the season theres going to be a lot of compensation flying around. I feel so sad for The Premier League!

I wasn't fussed either way but if this is the case, I'm all for shut down.
