We should have closed the borders to ALL - even Brits caught abroad on holiday (that's why we have embassies overseas to help such people when they need it) - on 23rd March.

I understand what your saying and I feel your pain but just be careful about this whole foreign thing. The UK like many other countries need Foreign Workers to do alot of jobs that they are very skilled at. If they practice strict quarantine, it shouldn't be a problem. Food is an essential service. We are so lucky to have the people at the supermarket and those who are working hard to try and get things onto the shelves. Remember that online a number of countries are trying to sow discord and make people turn against each other. Stay together by staying apart.
On another note, I always thought Cobra meetings were the most important meetings a PM would be having. Why was he not doing his job? Seriously, think about it!
What makes my p*ss really boil is that this crisis has shown the fiscal lies of the Tories were always that, lies. Do you remember the likes of Cameron, Osborne and May banging on about the magic money tree? It turns out that when the economy needs to be put on life support (because the market simply doesn't work when you most need it) there is the endless pot of money. The question becomes, then, not IF you have access to these financial resources but when you'll use them.
Its the same as in war time. No one ever asked if we could afford to fight a war. No one asked whether we could afford to bail out the banks and no sane person has asked whether we could afford to put the economy on life-support during the current crisis. If the ruling class need the state to bail it out the cheque book is out quicker than you can say Boris has done something stupid. The only time we're ever told that the country's got no money is when you or I need a little help. Let that sink in. Let that really hit home. They're having you for fools. They always have been. The power to change the country is there. Are you going to force them to use it for us or let them keep using it for themselves. Its Socialism for them and ruthless competition for us.

What about the parties,BBQ’s etc that are allowed to take place? There are idiots in all parts of society from the very rich to the very poor. Most of us abide by the rules but a few think rules don’t apply to them.
The individuals wealth, nationality, political thinking is irrelevant break the rules and you should suffer the consequences.

If you think we all play by the same rules, you're deluded.

Who is rich, the man that has £10 million, but craves for £20 million,or the man that has just enough but is content.
