Re: Bandoff - Biscuit Edition - Round of 16 - Tie 2
About 30 years ago I was on holiday in Cyprus and met a Scot who turned out to be a manager at Tunnocks. Over the course of a few beers I admitted that I did not recognise the name and thus to my knowledge had never tasted one of these. Two weeks later, back home in Yorkshire and one Saturday morning there was knock at the door. The postman was delivering a box which when opened was full of Tunnock's caramel wafers. Been a fan ever since! I'll always remember his name as well - Bill Shankley (not the famous one).

My dad used to bring them home from work when I was a kid - he was a milkman. Loved them ever since. A king amongst biscuits.

To be honest, this should be a walkover for Tunnock's - gingers always just taste funny to me.

I do like a ginger nut, but Tunnocks all the way.

Ginger nuts very nice soaked in a glass of milk. Don't consider the other a biscuit.

IMHO Tunnocks Caramel Logs are better than their Caramel Wafers.
